Design is more than pretty colors, shapes and textures.

Back in the day, design meant creating for a specific, fixed-size media: a poster, brochure or book, for example. These forms had finite sizes and the end product delivered a consistent experience to the consumer.

The web provides a unique set of design criteria that transcend typical "designer" mentality. From the computer in your office to the smart phone in your pocket, every experience is slightly different than the one before it. One simply cannot assume that every visitor to their site will experience it exactly the same way. By the same token, one also can't assume that every designer can "design" for the web.

That's where Soire comes in. I have experience designing for the modern web. Heck, I've been a part of the evolution since 2005-that's before Twitter and Facebook consumed every spare minute of our lives.

And I'm not just another mountain dew-drinking programmer geek, either. I handle every aspect of the process: building client relationships, handling visual design and branding, photography, social media strategy, email newsletters, and yes, web design and development-my bread and butter.
